hertsmere borough council | feb '06 to dec '08

  • Coordinated more than 20 web content authors; devised a management plan, trained all to use a Content Management System placing emphasis on writing quality web copy.
  • Controlled a £15k budget; procured crucial third-party applications, training and services; used XHTML, CSS, basic ASP and Photoshop to integrate various components into the site.
  • Produced critical review and developmental roadmap for website (hertsmere.gov.uk), presented to management board, used buy-in to direct a signifcant redesign of the website.

  • Hand coded using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP, designing all artwork and graphics in Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Created branding and all promotional material.

  • Educated staff about official standards and guidline for the national e-Gov program.
